About us

WallJobs started in 2015, when Henrique Calandra was a college student who couldn't land an internship. Instead of waiting, he built the bridge that was missing between students and the companies offering opportunities. Ten years later, WallJobs is the internship placement agent (what Brazil calls an "agente de integração") for 500+ companies that treat internships as a strategic talent pipeline.

What we do

WallJobs takes over from the moment an intern is hired, bringing contracts, compliance, schedules, development, data and relationships with 7,500+ educational institutions into one simple, intelligent system.

Every part of the WallJobs culture, values and way of working rests on three pillars, and they must always be the ones who benefit most from those values.

Three pillars

Our work is guided by three core groups.

  1. 01Candidates

Candidates and interns looking for their first opportunity in the job market.

  2. 02Our clients

Recruiters, HR and payroll teams who rely on our solutions.

  3. 03Our team

The people who make WallJobs happen every day.

Our story

Founded in 2015 by Henrique Calandra, WallJobs grew out of the restlessness of a group of college students who wanted a better way for students and companies to talk to each other.

  1. The beginning

Henrique Calandra was a college student struggling to land an internship. He created WallJobs so other students could reach their first internship or trainee program without relying on luck or connections: Brazil's first internship platform built by an intern.

  2. The pivot

WallJobs became an internship placement agent and was the first in Brazil to create and manage a 100% digital internship agreement.

  3. Reinforcements

The team grew with Alexandre Sande joining as CEO and William Kina as CTO.

  4. Fully remote

Running remotely and 100% digital through the pandemic, WallJobs kept growing without cutting pay or letting contractors go.

  5. Delivering quality

As it grew, WallJobs earned recognition and a 5.0 rating on Google from more than 900 reviews.

  6. The founder at the helm

Henrique Calandra became CEO, ten years after creating WallJobs as a college student.

Mission and vision

Our mission

To connect partners, candidates and clients to help early-career professionals break into the job market through a fast, simple and transformative journey.

Our vision

To be a benchmark in employability and HR solutions across the candidate and employer ecosystem, connecting talent and opportunity in innovative, efficient ways.

Our values

  1. 01Transparency

Transparency is how trust gets built. Clear, open communication keeps everyone informed, leads to better decisions and creates an environment of deep respect for every team member.

  2. 02Ownership and autonomy

We don't wait for someone else to fix what's within our reach. When we spot something that needs fixing, we take the initiative. Autonomy is one of the keys to growing at WallJobs.

  3. 03Commitment

Success requires everyone to own their responsibilities and deliverables. Every team member puts the needs of our pillars first.

  4. 04Growth and innovation

"We've always done it this way" has no place here. We see every challenge as a chance to improve. As a technology company, we have to keep innovating.

Manifesto

Everyone talks about careers once they've worked out. Hardly anyone talks about the beginning. At WallJobs, we believe talent was never in short supply. Recognition was.
