The Sr HR Business Partner designs, implements and monitors human resource programs and policies, including recruitment, learning and development, performance management, compensation, benefits, equal opportunity and diversity, etc. Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends.
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
Works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development at the business unit or division level
Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach
Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, stock renewal, workforce planning, and organizational change)
Assists senior management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives
May play a role in administering talent management and succession planning activity within client organization
Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving
Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
Minimum of 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3+ years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
Works independently, receives with minimal guidance
May lead projects or project steps within a broader project; acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus
