As a context, KAVAK has been operating in Mexico for a little over 4 years and has been growing exponentially. Currently we are more than 1,000 kavakos around the world, and as part of this accelerated growth we want to guarantee that we surround ourselves with the best talent to strengthen our teams and thus continue to build the technology, processes and products that allow us to transform the car market.

Your Mission And Responsabilities
  • Welcoming new employees and ensure they are given the best possible chance for success during their probationary period;
  • Create an onboarding plan for each new employee;
  • Be a point of contact for new starters and other kavak´s employees.
HR People, Policies and Procedures
  • Support employees to drive their objectives in relation to business objectives;
  • Suggest new HR technology solutions to improve day-to-day operations;
  • Maintain the HR system updated.
Culture and Engagement
  • Organize internal culture and values, as well as systems for embedding them;
  • Conduct internal surveys to gather employee feedback and identify areas of improvement;
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems;
  • Manage and analyze the performance review process;
  • Identify team member developmental needs across the business and create solutions;
  • Be an ambassador for the Kavak culture;
  • Provide regular updates and communications throughout the business;
  • Explore new incentives and ideas to engage the team;
  • Monitor benefit trends and make recommendations.
What You'll Need
  • English intermediate
  • Spanish basic to intermediate
  • Excel - advanced/intermediate
  • Microsoft Office 360 (word/ ppt, excel)
  • Gsuit / Google Drive and Google apps
  • At least +3 years of HR background and subsystems
  • Experience within a start-up environment or growing business environment is advantageous.
  • Understanding of company dynamics which includes the ability to thrive in an environment of ambiguity, constant changing, adaptability and flexibility; operate with urgency and also for the long-term value.
  • Technologically adept and business acumen focused with outstanding communication both written and oral, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work individually and on a collaborative team in a fast paced and continuously evolving environment.
  • Hands on person willing to achieve daily activities while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude.
